I've had those every year since junior year of high school. This is my fourth year in college and I'm only a sophmore haha. _________________

| I usually take showers. They're quicker and stuff. Plus, we have a nifty mobile showerhead.... Tra la la. If I'm going to take a bath (for relaxing or whatever) I take a shower first to get off the scum, and then soak in the tub. |

SCUMM Bar...
Round of grogs on the house!
Uhm...
Bath or shower water needs to be steaming hot. And not just because I'm in there. _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

I heard that. If I'm not in danger of burninating myself, it's not hot enough. _________________ Context is everything. |

Umm - this IS actually an issue for me at the moment because NORMALLY I have short hair but because I was broke I couldn't get it cut for a year or so and now its winter too, and its got LONG
SOoooo, normally when my hair is short I bathe and I wash my hair with the bathwater whilst in the bath 'cos its cheap and cheerful...all in one go
HOWEVER, now my hair is shoulderlength it moults, like, naturally, so I can't wash my hair in the bath, all at the same time anymore (are you still there?) because of the hairs (eughh) in the bath at the same time as me...
so now I have to either:
i) have a haircut
or
ii) buy a shower
So, I would say that
showers are just brilliant but:
baths for short haired bipedal carbon-based lifeforms
showers for longhaired '' '''' ''
but hair is just dead matter anyway
it would be cool to go to Ecuador and see the bathwater getting confused about which way it was supposed to go down the plughole (clockwise/anti-clockwise) because the earth's north-south polarity is having an internal struggle at the equator _________________ I may be synthetic but I'm not stupid |

Hmm, you really need to be careful here.
When you speak of the earth's "north-south polarity," you seem to be mistakenly attributing the Coriolis effect to the existence of magnetic poles. In reality, this effect is caused by a fictitious force which derives from the fact that motion takes place in a noninertial reference frame (i. e. the spinning earth).
Thank you for stopping by.
Oh, you had some hair concerns or something? Well, you will probably save money by getting the occasional haircut, as long hair requires time and money to maintain. I speak from personal experience. _________________ Context is everything. |

Ok, you're beginning to scare me... but hey, if you got a problem, just do what Geordi does... let's reverse the polarity!!!
If there's an alien race with a battleship stronger than yours, just reverse the polarity to use their own weapons against them... if there's a malfunction in the holodeck which causes some weird glitch that makes the butler from the Nanny walk around the ship and have Dwight Schultz become all paranoid again, just reverse the polarity... and if the ship's computer is having a bad day and decides to give Picard luke warm tea, just reverse the polarity and all will be fine again.
Sorry, I read a "10 things I hate about Star Trek" list and the dude listed Geordi always reversing the polarity to solve problems as one of them. I have to say, he's got a point.
Ah, here it is.
Now don't think I hate Star Trek. My dad raised me as a Trekkie and I'll always love it... especially TNG... _________________

No no no. You have to invert the quantum polarity, reconfigure the tachyon flux, bombard the core with extremely rare left-handed neutrinos, tap dance backwards in high heels, and you've just found the cure for cancer. _________________

Well, I'd be slightly careful with wilful/wanton/reckless reversing of polarity because something doesn't smell quite right - good way to annihilate one's friends and family really
ok, ok, so the earth changes its polarity every couple of 000s years, and indeed one can cut a magnet in half (with bolt cutters) and one is still left with a north and a south polarity (unlike cutting a wire receiving an electric current which results in a loss of power and possible death).
HOWEVER, reversing polarity on the quantum level could get a bit tricky-dicky - forget the macro (allegedly 'fictitious'?? doth s/he mean 'FRICTIONousness') Corrialis effect, it does exist, but at the meso/macrolevel of reality it all adds up, like gravity. At the quantum level tho', reversing polarity might be enough to tip the scales of matter-antimatter symbiosis ("I think you mean 'justice'" - "no, I don't") and like a tree falling in a forest when no-one is there to hear it, you wipe out your crew, genetic resources, ship, ship's mascot -WITHOUT A SOUND...
but go ahead and try it _________________ I may be synthetic but I'm not stupid |
