Malaysia we have a soccer team named Divine Rapiers. Their emblem is a cool sword. But when translated into Malay, the team's name is Perogol Suci, due to misunderstanding. This misunderstanding has caused them to be licensed under Divine RAPISTS.Hahahahahahaha

I do have to add a couple.
A lot of good (and embarrasing) names are posted, so the only one I can give is Mac Strong of the Seattle Seahawks, cool name to have eh? Yeah, it's a shame he changed it to that!
And for a sports team name? The first that comes to mind is the college Tulane, known as the Green Wave. Pretty crappy. They try to salvage it by making their mascot a pelican. |

There is a player on a team that my college plays in hockey... his name is "Bear Trapp".
Everyone always chants things like "Stu-pid Pa-rents" clap, clap, clapclapclap.
