okay, to drag this topic back on... uhhh... topic, i use the name wrincewind because there is a character called rincewind in my favorite book series, the discworld novels. but i was too lazy to look up how it was spelled when i created a runescape account more than 2 yeas ago, so wrincewind it has stayed.
now to bounce the topic to where it was before i posted, a short poem, of sorts:
i can play with dice,
i can play with cards,
i can play with freinds,
i like to play with my words

When I was younger I used to draw a character named Smiley (the guy in my avatar). When I was trying to set up a web page to display my art I went with Geocities because it was free and easy to use. "Smiley" was already taken so I went with "Smileypen" since I used a pen to draw him. It became my yahoo ID, and subsequently my ID on every online forum or service that I've signed up to use. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

Hmmm..
Angelus is the name of my favourite character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Raptor is the original nickname my old buddies call me back in primary school, due to my sneaky and swift ways whenever we play catching. Haha. _________________ Certified Evil Bastard. Serving your cuppa at Starbucks Terminal One Arrival Hall, Singapore. The one who started Premium Evil's tea. |

My avatar is not visible? Strange, I see it quite perfectly. Hope it's okay now. And thanks guys. Though, I might disappear anytime I guess, hehe.

Have I replied to this topic? I keep thinking I have, but I can't remember actually writing anything...
Anyhoo: My name is stupid and basically comes from me sitting on my bed looking at the stuff I have, and, well, I don't know. Yeah, I suck. |

If my roommate wasn't so into Spike, I would swear she'd pounce you, Angelus_raptor.
Anyways, getting to the point of this forum (or at least the main one), my name is actually the shortened version of my SN Anikira, just 'Kira' now. And in one story, she's one of the lesser muses in Greek mythology. You know, not one of the nine main ones like Calliope, Terpsechord, etc?
Yeah, I read WAY too much stuff. |

My forum name was a miss-spelling of "gremlin".
That kames me "thegrimmling".....
But I do moonlight as "ashdead" at some forums. _________________

I've never come across her in anything I've read, unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "one story." _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

Looks like you caught me, Ipsa. She's only a muse in one of MY stories. I don't think outside of the nine original muses there ever were any others. |

Well, you never know (but I do agree; there are no others). There are any number of demi-gods and demi-goddesses in Greek mythology. Hard to keep up with all of them. But it's fun to try. |
