Getting this close to the buzzComix Top 10 is bugging me. I'm thankful to you all for getting us as high as we are, but, narcissist that I am, I wanna break that damned Top 10. Let's try a little experiment.

Enter aLp's FREE sweepstakes for chances to win:

1. The aLp episode of your choice, in full color, framed and autographed by me (or my mom, or the guy I order gyros from at the diner).
2. A new, in-the-box Grid Alien figure from McFarlane Toys.

It's free and it's easy, and you can do this once per day.

I'm not sure getting into the buzzComix Top 10 does much for one's traffic, so this is mostly just for fun and ego. If we don't get there, or nothing exciting happens I'll stop whoring myself for votes all the time, I promise.

Yeah, so it turns out that I suck. I had a bug or two related to my server's time zone.

Try it again, and email me if it's still broke. You should be able to submit one entry per day on Eastern time.

Anyone else hit any problems, email me. Sorry and thanks...

Thanks to everyone who participated in January's sweepstakes! Your votes got us to a strong #17 ranking on buzzComix's Top 100 list.

The winner of the contest was randomly drawn and has been emailed - if your email starts with an "L" and ends in "gmail.com", then it might be you.

This person had 15 entries in the system, so it paid off to enter often. Oh, and if he/she doesn't respond, an alternate will be drawn.

For those interested in how the drawing was conducted, the 3,210 entries were stored in a MySQL database table called SWEEPSTAKES, and the winning email was pulled with the following query:
