The eggs are usualy close to the queen, if said queen gets kill by said soldiers it is likely said soldiers know about said eggs, thus if they are commaded by a competent commander, said soldiers would employ the old, tried and true technique of burning the with ye old fashion flamethrower. Thus said egg problem dissapearsand there is no reason or need to repent afore writen posts...

Yup, that's the problem. Because they can be away from the queen too.. like the beginning of Alien III. Who'ld expect there to be an egg within the ship?
