I saw Walk Hard the other night and really enjoyed it  Has anybody else seen it? It is hilarious!! I recognize myself bit in Dewey Cox, scary... If you haven't seen it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlOAHoW-RBI this will give you a pretty good idea what the film is all about |

I didnt expect anything when i first saw it and was pleasantly surprised.. perhaps that's the trick - not expecting too much?  |

I guess that you weren't flooded with the trailer or comemrcials. For me, I kept seeing the previews all the time, and the previews were hilarious -- from the parts about when he was 14 years old, to the slug fest when he played his music or his... suggestive lyrics. The previews contained ALL the funny parts. The parts that weren't shown (e.g. ANY scene with Tim Meadows: "Dewey, this is (insert drug here)! You don't want ANY part of this!) were predictable and just meh.
If you sport the attitude of not expecting too much, enjoy Dragon Wars, Gigli or any movie containing Jean Cluade Van Damme. I'm sure you will enjoy them... since you aren't expecting anything.
