For shits and giggles, I signed up for a free online dating site (I haven't been laid in over a year, don't judge me). Not one week after I do this, I receive a message from a woman who lives in the city where I go to school. She sends me a pic, she's kinda pretty. Here's the crazy part.

She's 37!

Now, you older forum-goers here might not think that's such a big deal, but I'm 21.

I can't help but be more than a little curious, can I? I strike up an e-mail conversation, and now we're going out on a date this weekend. The result is that I've been in the funniest, most confused mood of my life for the past few days. It's like every neuron in my head is simultaneously saying "Sweet!" and "What the fuck?"

I really hope that I learn something from this.

meh..age is just a number...as long as that number is above 18, everything is ok. As long as the woman is still goodlooking and takes care of her self, go for it.

Actually I was in the same boat. Before two months ago, my dry spell lasted 4 freakn' years.....I've tried online dating sites. No luck yet. So good luck fire.

aramor: Iono, but I feel kind of sketchy releasing a picture of a person that I don't know all too well yet on the internet. It'd be different if I were releasing a picture of myself, and I've already done that.
