You said it, not me.
Seeing Bernie's brill Escher homage made me happy today... but in case that goes without saying, I'll say that just being outside in the gorgeous weather here in New York today rocked my socks.

I got tickets to the US Open for under $20, that was fun. _________________ "You have to quote from books to look clever. You can't quote from films. If you quote from films you just look like a geek." |

I had to teach kickboxing class today..again. The class was huge. There was like 11 or 12 students in class. Half of them were new (which were women ). So the teacher split up the class. He got the new people and I got the advanced students.
I just did some light contact sparring, drills and pad work. There was a lot of postive feedback for the class. Even the owner of the gym was impressed with me. Who knows, if this keeps up, I might become a kickboxing teacher. _________________ "You're lucky attacking ends the spell or I would smack the crap out of all of you."

I learned that I can still pwn the monkey bars at the playground. And hanging upside-down from the swings is no biggie either. I can also lift children in ages 5-7 above my head so that they may do the same.
My year long absence from the gym has apparently not effected my strength too much. _________________ Context is everything. |

I bought a package of Crayola markers for $0.99! Watch out, Greek verb forms! I'm going to get schooled about you! Wait... no... You're going to get schooled! Hm. I bought markers for $0.99!
I also remembered that my Greek professor called me a smart-ass on Friday. That made me happy. Seriously! _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

I'm happy because I've got a date with a woman who's 16 years older than me on Saturday.
I'm so giddy... lalalala... _________________ The official MILF-masta of the AlP forums.

If I come across any (or can ever put any into Greek), I'll be sure to let you know...! And maybe I'll post them to be transliterated from Greek to English, too! _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

I'm happy 'cos Michael Clark fumbling the ball over the boundary in the Ashes gave me my biggest laugh in days. _________________

I was the first one to mention the Communist Manifesto in my Imperial Russia class today. Bwahahahahaaa...!

A few months ago I got a job as a Ph D researcher at the university of a city 2.5 hours away from Amsterdam, where I live with my girlfriend. So I had to find a room to spend the weekdays in, in Groningen, also because my contract obliges me to move to Groningen.
Anyhow, the housing market is impossible in Groningen, everything is fucking expensive and all cheap rooms are occupied by students.
But what made me happy is that this pretty Flemish PhD researcher and me, posing as a couple, got a beautiful, affordable, appartment in the city of my university together.
Now I only have to tell my girlfriend... _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |
