Ok, I tried creating a picture of a snake with white fur... but it didn't really work out...
Btw, you have no idea what kinda pictures you get when googling for white fur... at least not what you expect...

Ehh...pirates have a demented code of honor; ninjas have none. Ninjas (presumably) have some sense of dental hygiene (so they can't be sniffed out downwind); pirates do not. Tie!

Perhaps that's becasue you copied a .bmp image, not a .gif or .jpg .

Yes, the world was flat until Amerigo Vespucci got really drunk and turned it into a sphere, then Christopher Columbus took all the credit for it.
As for ninja v pirates, I cannot sway either way, since this is a question as old as time itself. Put there is one thing that can be agreed upon: A ninja pirate. Just think of it, a swashbuckling assassin. It could have a blunderbus that shoots ninja stars. You know what, I'm gonna go make a ninja pirate character model right now.
