Seeing as how this thread is getting resurrected so much, here's my expert analysis.

If you've ever been to a party in college, you're GOING to go with pirates on this one, because while a ninja is cool and all, he's going to SUCK IT and SUCK IT HARD at a party. He'll be the guy who sulks in a corner because he doesn't have the conversational skills to talk to women, quietly nursing his beer, killing everyone's buzz.

Seriously, though, a PIRATE at a party where there's alcohol?! That would be the sweetest thing ever, as pirates are notorious for having no self-restraint. He could talk to anyone, and your coolness level would go up 5 notches for just bringing this guy.

There is one exception to this, and that would if the ninja in question also happens to be a turtle. In the party case, this results in a tie.

Yes, I'd rather have a ninja at my back in a fight, but think on this, are you REALLY going to be in more fights than parties in your life? I didn't think so.

There. That settles it. Pirates. Discussion over.

Pirates a fat low life drunks and who are nothing but idiots. Only films make them look good.

While Ninjas, are mysterious genius' who spend life becoming the greatest at what they love. They take life and make the best of it. Pirates just waste life being drunk.

Have two buddies go to a party with comparable social skills. One dressed up as a ninja, (any ninja, they all look the same), the other dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow.

these pirates were the coolest pirates ever, i bet they could outsmart any ninja in the world. add their natural charm and charisma. and they walked on the ocean's bottom with a boat on their shoulders, can you get any cooler?

You seriously believe that if a group of ninjas were set the task of boarding a pirate ship and killing the crue, the pirates would outsmart them?
