This is a rant, mostly following my scattered train of thought.
For quite a while now, the media has been pushing being thin as being attractive for women.
In the fifties, the ideally beautiful woman was semi-plump.
Twenty years ago, the ideally beautiful woman was delightfully slender.
Now, the ideally beautiful woman is Too Damned Thin.
Honestly, there's a nice range of what looks good, and it's not wholly centered on Too Damned Thin.
I'd like to see some curvier women in movies. Not fat, but softer, without all those hard edges.
I don't mind how much fat a woman has, as long as she looks healthy. Emaciated doesn't look healthy, and it's not sexy.
Worse, when I look for porn, I can never find women who look healthy. In regular porn, they're all emaciated, with hard corners but with gigantic, surgically-altered breasts.
I try looking for porn with heavier girls, but all I find are mammoth monstrosities who look like they'll be dead in a few days.

In good news, I met Liam Neeson yesterday. That was kinda coo. _________________ The official MILF-masta of the AlP forums.

Yeah. I work as a camp counselor, and Liam Neeson's son is in my group. Friday was parents' visiting day, and there was Liam Neeson. I shook his hand and said "You must be ******'s father." (I'm not giving his son's name, as I dunno if he wants his children's names to be known to random people on the internet) I spoke with him about his son, about the group, and with whom his son has made friends over the summer. It was semi-surreal. _________________ The official MILF-masta of the AlP forums.

That's cool. He's a great actor, and he seems like he's a real down-to-earth guy (not an ego-maniac like so many actors these days). I thought you were just joking, you know, trying to cap off your post with something off the wall. |

Yeah, he seemed like a cool guy while I was talking with him.
His son's a really nice kid, too. You'd expect him to be spoiled considering how famous his dad is, but he's a smiley kid who doesn't cause any trouble.
Funny thing: he was taking his son home early that day, and I called "Mr. Neeson!" to him. You could tell, as he turned around, that he was sort of thinking "aw crap, some idiot's going to ask for my autograph" but I just asked him if he were taking his son home early, and he smiled and started talking at ease. It was a neat experience.
...and a cool thing to be able to brag about _________________ The official MILF-masta of the AlP forums.

Yeah. Yeah, Liam Neeson is cool..
Anyway, I don't like women to be too skinny. Basically if your ribs are showing, I'm probably am not attracted to you. I am also by no means a chubby-chaser. I like a girl with some meat on her, whipped cream will also do... _________________

Well, as a girl who's a little wider than I would like I agree that it's hard to really be happy the way you are when you're always seeing super skinny girls on magazines and primetime drama and stuff.I don't blame the media entirely because I know that it's basically made up of what people want to see, but I think the media also starts things and the public follows it, rather than the other way around, so it's partially to blame. _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

Yeah, the last few days have been pretty cool for me Only thing that would make it better would be if I met an attractive, single girl: not too fat, not too thin, with a sense of humor. That would be sweet.

Thank you! Jeez. It's hard trying to get anyone to really even give you the light of day unless you're a sorta body type anymore... I'm a decent-sized girl myself (Swede/German) so it's not like I can even get below a certain size without hurting myself (I can't even weigh less then 180 anymore due to muscle mass, which I don't even care anymore X3), but I'm fit and healthy and pretty well-to-do as far as my body goes... People still think I'm 'fat' though because of my wieght/my stomach isn't sucked in more even though I'm completly flat now. _________________ EA . devART . sketchBLOG |

Beauty is supposed to be a sign of overall health.
Anorexia is not healthy!
Accidently cutting a man's face with your cheeks is not healthy!
Being able to get blown away by the wind is not healthy!
Eating less isn't healthy. It's being more active that is. I'd rather date a woman who eats like a whale but works out like an olympic athlete, than a broomstick who eats pills and hires people to carry her around.
Well. Except those figure skaters with elephant legs (seriously, those things are like greek columns). They slightly scare me...
Basically, to all those broomsticks out there: EAT SOMTHING GOD DAMNIT! _________________

Lol, I know... It's funny, everyone thinks just dieting'll do it these days (and it does to some degree), but since those avid diet-chasers dont' actually excercise they waste away their muscles too.
Lol, nothing's wrong with having strong, muscelly legs (as long as they aren't too much so, like those scary-ass female bodybuilders that look liek neutered men). _________________ EA . devART . sketchBLOG |

Actually I think there's been a lot of backlash against the emaciated look over recent years... J Lo's big ol' booty and Angelina's curves are what's in, and I hate Lindsay's new skeleton crack-addict look and women like Lara Flynn Boyle. I do have a friend who said he found Kate Moss attractive, but he's literally the only guy I've ever heard say that.

Just becuase of whats popular in Hollywood doesn't mean it applies to everyday life. I see all types of women get hit on. Basically guys go after everything _________________ "You have to quote from books to look clever. You can't quote from films. If you quote from films you just look like a geek." |

And besides, if civilization suddenly broke down and it was every man for himself, and we had to survive and make our own shit and hunt our food... Those stick-thin chicks would be the first to die. Not only because they have no fat, but also because they'd have no stamina because they don't have muscle either! And if they're living off Diet Coke, what happens when there's no more Diet Coke? |

if civilization ever broke down, first thing I'm doing is barricading myself in a Costco.
When was there a jennif fanboy frenzy? Must be before my time.

The Jennif frenzy started in the Post Your Ugly Mug topic. She posted a picture of herself... and either Inkmonkey or Digitaalklosetti started stalking her. _________________

Yeah, but she already married Bernie.
Sorry, couldn't help it.
Anywho, I tend to agree with Bernie's earlier comments, and not just because he's the local deity. _________________ Context is everything.
