Just seems a little out of place to quote Shakespeare on this forum _________________ The official MILF-masta of the AlP forums.

I would like to apologise to the other forum users for my use of Shakespeare. I see now that some people may find this both distressing and confusing. To make up for this, here is another Jay and Bob quote:
"Yo baby, ever have your asshole licked by a fat man in an overcoat?"
This has a 0% success rate as a pick up line, believe me I know _________________

Well, there are several Hamlet movie renditions... e.g., the Kenneth Branaugh version (which is about 4 hours long), a Mel Gibson version, Lawrence Olivier, and most recently one with Ethan Hawke in the lead role. (And those are just the American ones)
So Shakespeare isn't too awkward to quote here. It's just awkward in the way it was used.
Bonus points if anyone can tell me to which character he says that to and/or what act and scene! _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

It is? Damn, I wish someone had told me that while I was at school. I could start a Shakespeare quotation thread, but it'd get less hits than abevigodanaked.com.

I like the Olivier one. Where he doesnt so much chew the scenery as ingest it totally then crap it all over the screen. But the guy is such an acting god that he gets away with it. _________________

I like the Kenneth Branaugh version because it's the complete text and enjoyable to watch. But it's so freaking long.

I liked his Henry V film
"And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."
That bit stirs the soul of any true Englishman. Plus when you're a teenager studying it you can have a good ol' laugh at the phrase ' hold their manhoods ' _________________

I vaguely remember Henry V.
I would quote something from Ran, but I don't know the Japanese. _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |
