Granted, but the fact that a fedora can be used to conceal the upper part of your face and thus make it more difficult to have a witness identify you means that criminals everywhere start using fedoras and get away with more crimes without getting caught. Crime skyrockets, and you're shot by a Rumanian wearing a fedora.
