"Relics" just came on Spike TV. It's such a nostalgic episode, it made me a little weepy. And I'm about to watch "Trials and Tribble-lations", the DS9 episode. What a night.
I have to say I never was a big fan of the original series, but it was so legendary that I hardly had to wach it to know all the characters, and Scotty was one of the ones that stood out the most. James will be missed. _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good I get, I'll never be as good as a wall.

I sat up and watched those, too. Hell, "Relics" made me weepy before; I was a mess this time.
I was (and hell, still am) a huge fan of the original series, and have had very little interest in the ones that followed; there's a kind of hopefulness about it all that I don't think anything made now (ST or otherwise) can manage, and as I got older, I was able to appreciate the way stock characters were gradually given individuality by the people playing them. _________________ "I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be." - Douglas Adams |
