Indeed. I bet they look at you and think "Look at this ugly creature, with his flappy ears and this strange grass like stuff coming out of the top of his head and his nose."
Furthermore... all glory to the hypnotoad _________________

Actually, I have a reason for hating a cross-over like this. How and the hell would they be able to meet, with a sensible reason?
Ok, I know they WOULD be able to meet... But Halo and Predator have no place with eachother. It's like Romeo and Juliet.
Romeo- Halo
Juliet- Predator
Oh sh*t, wait, that came out wrong.
Romeo- Predator
Juliet- Halo
And that damned parent is...
A-dumb-a$$- ALIEN
But this time, the damned parent wins. They have no luck with eachother.
But considering that this is a "What IF" sort of question, I'm going with Predator. I have my reasons. |

Off topic, but I'd still like to see a Predator Guyver. That guy would just destroy everything. _________________

Halo seems much more related to the Alien universe than to the Predator universe. They have very similar technology, and they're only 300 years apart.

| Yes, indeed it does. But Prophets suck. That's the only thing getting them in the way. Plus, Predators are more like the Covenent, except they tend to do it the old fashioned way and not be stupid p*ssies like Grunts and go one-on-one, close combat. No, seriously, I was talking about the Covenent Grunts. The little squeeky guys that like sleeping when the Flood are around. |

Would an Energy Sword be able to dice through Pred tech and armor? I think so. But would a Shoulder-Cannon be able to blow out an ELites shield. I think so too. If you ask me, they're very evenly matched. Right down to the mouth. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

| Haha. They both have madibles. But Predators, unlike Elites, can actually try and use the madible to atleast peck them. |

I've already concluded, I think on this thread even, that the pred plasma cannon can be compared to the cov fuel rod. Similar power, speed, accuracy, etc. The pred cannon would knock out the elite's shield in one hit, and kill in the second. (I'm basing my observations on halo 1 weapons, jsyk)
And Preds don't have any shielding of any kind that I know of, and thus would be pwnt by an energy sword. _________________

Agreed Simon. I also mentioned the Fuel Rod earlier. Also don't forget, Covies have snipe weapons.
Elite: "Yes, walk right into my sights. There's a good boy."
*Pred goes invis*
Elite: "Active camo! Hax!"
Pred: clickclickclick "Boooom....head shhhhot." *point blank shoulder cannon to the head* _________________

Predator plasma cannons are equiped with long range auto-tracking, remember?
But yes, go beam rifle. I love that weapon. When I play Halo 2 with my buddies, it's always a beam rifle and a needler. Why needler? Cause needler is awesome. _________________

I found dual weilding to be sort of stupid.
The needler and pistol are still overpowered when dual wielded*.
SMG's suck through and through (they're like Halo 1 assault rifles, innaccurate and weak).
Plasma weapons are more or less limited in functionality, dual wielding makes that problem worse.
*The needler is pwoerful agaisnt single enemies (spray and you don't even need to pray), and tightly-grouped packs (pincushion one and the rest will reap the whirlwind.) However against multiple oponents who aren't in formation (ffa deathmatch f.e.), it is indeed practically useless. _________________

SMG doesn't suck, really. You just have to know how to use it. I've won games without picking up anything but SMG's... _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Let me guess, you have to run up real close and shove the barrels in thier faces.
That's the only thing that even marginally worked for me when I palyed Halo 2. _________________

Actually Simon, if you dual wield smgs and tap the triggers repeatedly instead of holding them down, they're deadly accurate and thus just plain deady. Also, smg + pistol pwns. Best dual wielding combos though are magnum and plasma pistols or smg and plasma rifle. _________________

I don't mind how much damage the needler does; the prospect of turning my enemy into a pretty-in-pink pincushion is good enough for me. Think the pred would be pwnt by twin needlers _________________ Fear me! I'm scary! |

Except the last two weren't really planning on killing each other...
Anyhoo, now that we're talking more about Halo than the actual topic... a good friend of mine bought an XBox... now, should he buy Halo (that's what I tell him because I've got some good memories with that game... Blood Gulch much?) or should he go with Halo 2? _________________
