For serious hadcore fans

the subject don't lie...I mean, these are for serious fans.
I have a few questions about the movie
1. when the predator gave danny's necklace back, I wonder..do you think he knew it had a meaning..why do you think he'd do that?

2.when in the slaughter house, the predator discovers that the humans are tricking him *sneaky sneaky* he says "now you will die" was that him saying it? or was it one of his imitation voices? if you think so, why did he say it to himself..because he wasn't talking to anyone.

3. is that weird bar the the left side of the predators vison,with the red squiggles that changes like its on crack a traslator? it's never really made clear, and I'm pretty sure that it is, because he understands things..like"danny, go back to the crime scene" and when danny goes back..who do we find? the predator..

4. the last question that all the others build up to is, how well do you think predators understand english?
so anyway, I am fully aware that the movie isn't real...okay? but I just want some questions answered, because I feel like being a hard core fan..I should know all the facts.

Don,t know how old these questions are....

1.Dannys necklace hanging from the tree was like a totem
for Harrigan...a sign to show him he,s marked for the hunt.
A sort of' i trophyed your buddy...your next' type thing.

2.The second point you raise is very interesting...i believe
this is the only time we hear a predator talking in its(imaginery)
native tongue...its just after the Predator does a composite
wide range spectrum scan. Its not saying you will die,its
unintelligable predator speak...interesting someone should
notice this too.

3. The predators helmet...or more correctly termed,
Environment Helmet (Environ Helm) is a self functioning
mission recorder. Recording the mission for later study by
either the predator or others on the homeworld (Thats another story)
The Environ helm also records the preys vital bio- functions,heartbeat,
pulse etc....that bar you refer to is recording this. Thereby allowing
the predator hunter to see its preys emotions (fear,anger etc) and
physical constitution,giving the predator an advantage during the hunt.
The helm also houses the automatic targeting system/cursor for the
shoulder mounted plasma cannon.

4. How do predators know English?.....How did predators master faster
than light interstellar travel?....
See above....they are a highly intelligent species...smarter than us.
After studying the in helm mission recorders,English translation would
not be too much of a problem for a race as advanced (yet primitive)
as this.
