I have an ongoing debate....

say Dumbledoor dissed Gandalfs mother and they got into a fight, who do you think would win?

we all know Gandalf is WAYYYY cooler, but is he a better fighter?

I still don't understand how Dumbledore could trust Snape for absolutely no reason at all, concidering Snape was once a Death Eater.

Gandalf on the other hand, absolutly whupped Balrog ass (and came back from the dead). He wields a sword and a staff at once, can scare ANzgul away, speak to animals, etc.

Dumbledore's magic is more flashy but Gandalf simply needs to put that white orb around him to protect himself (as he does against the Balrog), and then splice the Earth under Dumbledores feet.

If magic doesn't work, Dumbledore is pretty crewed becasue he seems reliant on magic. Gandalf is an old man (300 lives of men old... but he isn't human) and he still carries a sword (a big one at that) in one hand like a baton.
