That's complete and utter crap, I'm sorry, but that General is an old moronic figurehead of power, and a convenient target for assassinations.
China is the largest owner of United States debt right now. China has invested billions, possibly trillions of dollars to the idea that the United States is capable of paying off its debts. That's where Bush got a large chunk of the money he received for going to war: China.
China's leadership isn't stupid. They're not going to give us an easy excuse to declared our debt to China null and void by nuking us.
...at least not until our debt is largely paid off.
