I got my avatar from www.neopets.com. I didn't like any of the ones I saw anywhere else, and this one blinks!! Rolling Eyes

Sometimes if you "google" words, you'd be surprised what you come up with. Some days, I just go to "search engines", and type in obscure words, like "tribunals", or anything really, and get some interesting stuff on the computer.

Avatars is a good word, too.

Yes, paintedghost, my adviser (my daughter, Cherokee) takes my too large photos to "paint", and re-sizes them, I don't know how to do it, (yet), but she says, "Mom, any idiot can do it". Actually, she sneered.

We have a PC, a Compaq, (well..., I do, she has a lap-top something), but I think that if you can do anything on a computer, you can do that. (except for me, I have no short term memory), which is why she does things FOR me. haha.

It's quite simple, really. Here's how you do it:
Import the file into MS paint. Click on the "image" menu on the top toolbar, and select "stretch/skew." Then simply enter a number between 0 and 100 in the horizontal and/or vertical fields to contract the image.

Just cause I'm Neovanglist doesn't mean I can... vangle... yeah.

Stretch and skew was too tough for me. In MS Paint, I just selected the entire picture and then dragged it down till it was small enough.
