Well, who's your favorite member of the Justice League? I'm a Green Arrow/Ollie Queen fan myself; anyone else? Also, if you like a specific incarnation of a superhero (e.g., Hal Jordan over Kyle Raynor), say so. _________________ Grrrr...RAAAAARRRGHHH!!!

I like Batman... caus he's not a real superhero, just a rich guy in a rubber suit with nice gadgets...
But my all-time favourite super hero must be Spider-man. Just your average student who gets super powers... plus he was in this movie with Kirsten Dunst _________________

It's a tough choice, but I'm gonna go with Green Lantern with Wonder Woman a close second. I don't particularly like Wonder Woman as a character, but I'll do anything for a woman in a star spangled bikini _________________

Whoops, sorry...forgot Hawkgirl.
I like Green Arrow for pretty much the same reason a lot of people like Batman. He's got no powers, just a lot of neat doodads. Still, I prefer Green Arrow because he a) doesn't have that compulsive need to wear a cape, and b) actually has a sense of humor. _________________ Grrrr...RAAAAARRRGHHH!!!

Ehh...Batman's cool (particularly in the movies, because he's got the occasional one-liner), but he needs to show more emotion. And he needs to take better care of his youthful wards. There's been how many, 4 Robins? Only one of which (as I recall) developed into an independent superhero (not counting the Teen Titans). I mean, Speedy had a drug problem, but he got over it and is now the world's 2nd best archer and a martial artist on par with Batman and Lady Shiva. _________________ Grrrr...RAAAAARRRGHHH!!!

Maybe, I'm just not a traditional type of girl when it comes to my super heroes. I've always loved the x-men. You know, the original cartoon and comic. Rogue and Gambit were my favorites.
Them, and the Thundercats were my childhood heroes. Screw the Justice League. |

Doesn't the Justice League predate the X-Men? Wouldn't that make them a bit more "traditional"? _________________

Well, he's not counting them on the grounds that it would disprove his point that only one of Batman's wards became completely independant. _________________

Let me say this once and for all---Batman.
As stated earlier in the thread---he has no superpowers yet manages to whup everyone's ass. The only real severe ass whupin' I can remember from any of the Batman series is when he got his back broken. For fuck's sake-he even whuped Superman's ass.
And regarding the whole ward/Robin thing-one of them died (killed by the Joker), one of them became Nightwing, one is a young boy (which I'm pretty sure the 'Teen Titans' Robin is based off of) and one is a girl (when he's old).
Plus-he's a rich playboy by day-how can you hate on that?!?!?! |

oh.... well.... yes, well, that makes perfect sense
For a minute there, I lost myself, phew...
Anywayz, I don't like the Justice League. For me, it's moslty X-Men. And occasionaly the Teen Titans.
So why not count them?!?!?!! ...oh yeah, Robin, only superhero, independent, right... _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

Van Helsing turns into Wolverine!!! For real man. In Van Helsing he was already really old and whats-her-name-played-by-Famke-Janssen said that they could not determine his age and that he could be already really old... that's what I think... really... _________________

I don't see how anyone could possibly not love someone who's name is synonymous with public nudity.
I'll give you a hint, his name begins with a "T"
...and ends in "he Flash" _________________ The official MILF-masta of the AlP forums.

But of course, if I would have to choose, it'll bee Batman. For obvious reasons, of course.
But why not counting the Teen Titans?!?!
Right, remember, only one ward, Robin, independent... _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

Wolverine is about 138 years old or so, according to the Marvel website (I forget the exact figure), putting him in the late Victorian era. Whoa.
To clarify: Green Arrow was ALSO a rich playboy (before giving up the lifestyle after the first truly wonderful person he ever knew was blown up before his eyes by a landmine his company manufactured), ALSO has no powers, and ALSO kicks major butt. Gave his life to save the world before being brought back by the original Green Lantern, his buddy Hal Jordan. HELPED Batman whup Superman with a Kryptonite arrow in the "Death of Batman" story arc (which included Robin IV, the first female Robin) with only one arm.
Actually has a sense of humor (as opposed to Batman) and isn't in need of major post-traumatic therapy (as opposed to Batman) and successfully gets a superheroine girlfriend (as opposed to Batman). While Batman is the World's Greatest Detective, Green Arrow is the World's Greatest Archer AND fostered the careers of the Second and Third Greatest, Arsenal and the second Green Arrow, respectively. I rest my case.
And not counting Robin's stint as leader of the Teen Titans because he doesn't get a cool room in the Watchtower--and it's presumably the same Robin (Dick Grayson) anyway. _________________ Grrrr...RAAAAARRRGHHH!!!
