Oh, don't worry, I'm still perfectly willing to have a cyber orgy. It's just real-life sex I don't care for. To tell you the truth, I'm probably way better off that way, since I don't have to worry about std's or pregnancy or that kind of thing. Maybe someday I'll change my mind, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

And to Holly: It's all good, girl. My suggestion is to find someone and fall in love. There's nothing better than that.
Then, years later, when they leave you and break your heart, you can go back to not caring. And you can say to her: "God damnit, Roseann! You meant everything to me! I was always honest with you, and you lie to me and give me so much pain, but it still hurts to have you leave! No don't flee the country! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Eh, thing is I don't fall in love. Maybe I'm just a cold hearted bitch or maybe I'm just wired differently, but I don't get all mushy on other people. I'm still young, so it might happen yet, but I'm really in no hurry.

Don't imagine it has to be all about mush to be love, either. My parents weren't gushy and emotional with each other much, but they loved each other, no doubt about that. They were one of two sets of the parents of my circle of friends who didn't get divorced.
I'm a lot like them (not surprisingly), and it took a long time to find someone who not only claims to be able to deal with that, but clicks with it. I've long since come to the conclusion that it's certainly possible to be infatuated with someone you don't like much in other ways, but you'll never actually be in love with them. Evolving friendships have their benefits

Yeah, love is a personal thing. I guess some people just aren't overly affectionate. I tend to be quite the romantic myself, but it has led to over-idealizing and clinginess in my experience. Oh well, maybe I'm better off apathetic like I am now.

You know, I used to have issues with sex myself. Then I met somebody who really helped me connect with my sexual side. He helped me realize that my hatred and disgust toward sex were just my pent up sexual frustrations that I had no way to vent. I'm better now, though. Thanks largely to that Ass-Bag. |
