I'm serious though, what would an Alien vs. Predator Opera look and sound like?

I'd say we get Depeche Mode to write the music.

Now for the libretto, I would suggest Flaubert. But he's dead.

Of course Giger himself would design the stage.

I think James Hetfield would do great as a Predator in the Opera. I never said it had to be a conventional opera!

But then I think the Xenos would have to be a choir of Nu Metal Rappers, you know, Fred Durst, the guy from Korn, etc.

If a band is not effin metal it's not a true metal band.

There is Nu-Metal, Rap-Metal and others which arent considered True-Metal, it can be negotiated to a certain extent its metal, but just not TRUE.

I like Metallica and AC/DC and Megadeth and Zep and to a certain extent Scorpion, but only what I've heard on the radio. I don't own any albums. But I once had an argument with my stepdad on what actually constituted "Heavy Metal" and his opinion was that heavy metal was "any music where people sing really loud". I can't exactly go with that. I mean, people sing loud in country and crappy power ballads, but that don't make it metal.
