Getting sucked into the hype. Read issue zero and picked up a few copies of #1. Hope it is worth it. Not a big Cyclops fan and, unfortunately, I'm under the impression he is a focal point.

I'm kinda confused.

Isn't the whole state of comics nowadays basically nothing but crossovers anyway?

Hard to say. Granted, there are many it seems but I'm following several related comics which seem to have some cross-overs. DC has been developing this background story about a secret society called the Owls that has been running things behind the scenes for 100+ years. There is going to be a running Owls storyline in a few associated comics like Batgirl, Batwoman, Nightbird (not sure of spelling, I don't follow it) and even that American Western comic (also not following).
