Anyone see it? First season is on dvd and the second will be starting soon. Looks pretty good, but I never saw an episode. Have you? _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I've been wanting to watch this. I even recorded the pilot when it came out, but the DVR ate it. _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

Downloaded the first season (6 episodes) and got around to watching them. Great show. Also reading the tpbs and finished the first 3 (I think it is 6 comics per tpb). Have #4 & 5 on order from Amazon. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I started watching, got through to the middle of the second season then stopped.
My problem with it is that it's basically nothing new. If you've seen any of the earlier Romero films you know how it goes. _________________

I guess I'm untainted by Romero. Which film(s)? _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead.
Haven't seen Night of the Living Dead but I suspect it's the same dealie there as well.
Land of the Dead and Diary of the Dead are... okay I guess. Not nearly as good. _________________

I did see Shaun of the Dead which, as I understand it, is a parody of Dawn. Maybe, I'll rent them one of those days when the kiddos are occupied. Of course, I'll have been tainted by Walking Dead. Just got my tpds, #4 and #5. Lookingforward to meeting this Governor chap. Read the novelization of the Walking Dead book, so I'm looking forward to this. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I wouldn't really call Shaun of the Dead a parody of Dawn of the Dead. I think it's more like a zombie movie with a lot of good humor in it. _________________

My apologies. It will be interesting to see if the 3rd season of the book parallels the comic. What I've seen of season 2 (which isn't much), makes it seem like the Dexter show/book where there is branching of the 2. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I only recently saw "28 Days Later" and thought it was very well done. Haven't seen the AMC series yet. I figure I'm too late to get into it now. I have so little time to actually sit and watch TV anymore. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

There really aren't that many episodes. The first season is only 6 and they just finished the second (13 episodes). _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Anybody still watching this?
I started watching it a couple of weeks ago and I'm halfway through the 3rd season. I like it, although I find myself yelling "WHY DON'T YOU JUST SHOOT HIM!!!" at the TV a lot... _________________

Love this show.
Also, as an aside, I love how the cast is "dirty". My Wife and I also watch Revolution, although are confused as to how clean everyone is and how, in a world without power, the chicks hair is so nicely done.
Also like Storage Wars on A&E, though am skeptical with the ongoing season without Dave. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

That's probably my favorite zombie movie and I didn't know there was a show.
I know what I'm doing this weekend. |

I hope you do realise it's all set up and real people are actually losing a lot of money because they're buying storage units with nothing noteworthy in it? _________________

Dude, are you gonna tell me that Santa is fake as well? I'll need some hard evidence before you shatter my whole reality!
Aaaaaaaaanyway... finished Season 3 yesterday. Can't wait for the 4th. Although this one has a less open ending than the last 2, there's still a lot of loose ends dangling. _________________
