Many of you may not remember me, which is a good thing considered I use to be pretentiously annoying, in my opinion. I have matured in the last three or two years and hope to reform my image into something better than I left off with.
So Hi! |

Well I have this odd thing where small details about me in the past will annoy me.
It's quite annoying actually. |

Because they're not as heavy.

You mean because somebody accidentally threw some Stone Sour in their latest album? :p _________________

Personally I never really listened to it.
I also never heard the latest Slipknot album, except Psychosocial. Which I do happen to like. _________________

| There are some good songs on it, but I've heard the one that plays on MTV and it does not sound like Slipknot at all. |

It's kind of scary to see people grow up on this forum. It makes me think that we should try to be good role models. _________________ Context is everything. |

What about those statements is subtle?
lol
I can't claim to know any of the groups being described. My guess is that they all sound the same -- with the lyrics between being angst ridden, sullen or angry and the musical undertones sounding like Green Day. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

| There is nothing angsty about Six Feet Under, at all. I also hate Green Day, least their transformation from true punk to mainstream punk. |

Really?
From the Urban dictionary: "Angst denotes the constant struggle one has with the burdens of life that weighs on the dispossessed and not knowing when the salvation will appear."
From the 3rd song of the first 6 feet under album I found:
"...You try to run
It's no good
Demons have you
In their grip
You can't break free
Now your done
Takes your soul
Now they must
Turn your life into dust
Drags your soul
Back to hell
Chants a verse
Raging sea
Drinks your blood
And rings the bell..."
Sounds angsty to me. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I have some humility, and will step down.
You sir are much more knowledgeable than me. |

Hmmm.... good point. I was surprised to read the story that the new bassist for Smashing Pumpkins was one of the chicks on the cover of Siamese Dream. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

| That was actually a pretty good article, because who'd thought a girl on an albums cover would become one of the next band members. |
