They're well drawn, but I don't really like them. First of all, she's wearing earrings. She's got no ears. Secondly, she's too feminine in the face and body. She should be a lot bulkier and more muscular. The artist tried to make her pretty, but it really doesn't come off well. Thirdly, she really needs to cover up better. I can see her dirty pillows. And fourth...she's wearing freakin' earings! Why would a yautja wear rings there? There's nothing to pierce! Overall she gives the impression of a harem girl with a yautja face. But it is well drawn.

Eh, I guess, but I just thought the pics look sorta dopey, and besides, she's only seven feet tall. Meh. She's a weakling!

Aren't female Predators supposed to be even bigger and badder than the guys in the movies?
If so the picture Blaster posted is more realistic.

I agree with holly as well. Thoses pics look like alien pin up girls from Star Trek, not bloodthristy hunters of the jungle. They look way to pretty to monsters from a horror/ si-fi movie. looks like the artist is a little weird.

Aww, I was just trying to give a budding artiste some exposure.  I still think it was a valiant effort at predator fan art anyway. |

I wasn't trying to put the artist down, like I say they're very good artstically. And I do like the style. I just don't think it really says "Predator". As original art it works much better. But thanks again for the links, really. It's sparked an interesting discussion.

They are pretty good drawings, but have they ever seen the movies?? Predators are all about their weaponry, armor, and honor. Dressing them up like a gypsy just doesn't say Predator to me.

Okay, so the only thing it really says about appearance is that they're large. So... if the Yautja ladies in the pics at the top were a good 8 feet tall, would that work out?
Personally, I'm surprised at the dedication to canon. I know most people I talk to online would just say, "OMG BOOOBIES!!!" and be perfectly happy.
