Well, this was like a breath of fresh air after the ass-numbing inevitability that was Avatar. Downey-Junior is awesome, Jude Law isn't crap and above all, this was great fun from start to finish. Lost its way a little in the middle, but thoroughly enjoyable all the same. Did I mention that it's way better than Avatar?

I still think Avatar is better, but yeah, Sherlock Holmes wasn't too shabby.

Shame they didn't provide subtitles at the theatre, though.

It's not so much the fact they have accents as it is Guy Ritchie's film style.

I enjoyed Sherlock, saw it while I was in NZ with my sisters BF. Downy Junior is always good to watch, have always found his humor well suited to my taste. I am not even going to bother comparing it to Avatar, whats the point? Razz

Well, my group o' friends was sort of split on what to go watch: Avatar or Sherlock Holmes. So with me there has always been sort of a rivalry there.

Sherlock Holmes was good though.

went to see it, and while it had its moments, on the whole i was rather bored. more interesting than Avatar, that's for sure, but that's not saying very much.
