they were doing a parody of Planet of the Apes. (I hope you're not thinking about the lousy remake of Planet of the Apes that came out in 2000-something. the original Planet of the Apes movie that made these lines famous was made in 1968.) |

A spanish horror film from 2007 titled REC. It's similar to Blair Witch Project or Cloverfield; a movie that's essentially a "found tape of raw footage" chronicling an interview at a firefighting station that goes horribly wrong when the firefighters are called in to investigate a possible hazard that turns out to be...
...well, I don't want to spoil anything, especially so close to Halloween. But I recommend it for the scare factor, but also for the Manuela Velasco factor, a chick who's in her mid-30's but looks a helluva lot younger than that.

The Shining, finally. It was alright, not amazing, but I enjoyed it.
