León. I really liked this one! The plot seemed interesting but I really didn't have very high expectations because I don't usually watch movies like this. But this time it surprised me! _________________ After my life I'm just gonna relaaax in Hell..! |

The lastest Woody Allen flick, Midnight in Paris. It was charming and heartwarming and sentimental in the best possible way. Not brilliant, surely, but disarmingly charming. _________________ i have no time for anal love

Inception again. First time I saw it since at the theatre, and my appreciation has only grown after the second viewing.
Except one thing now really bothers me: Pain. I've never experienced pain in a dream. I guess that's kinda kickass since it's a good reality check and a great way to turn a nightmare back on itself but, yeah. I don't get pain, I don't get fatigue, and I see the sorry sods in the film and I go "wut?"
Anyone care to comment on this? _________________

I have definitely experienced physical pain in a dream. It was the scariest shit I think I've ever had to deal with while asleep. It seemed to last for hours. When I finally woke up I felt like I'd been through the ringer but good. Still get shivers thinking about it. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

I never experience physical pain (or really "touch" anything) in a dream unless it has some greater emotional significance to me. Otherwise I kinda just... do a floaty kinda thing.
But I thought all the other little minor details thrown in about the experience of a dream were right on. Definitely the simple stuff that made the movie work so well in my opinion. |

I've experienced physical contact in dreams. I can't remember pain, but I can definitely remember touching stuff and actually feeling it.
And sometimes I dream I'm falling from really high, and I actually get a tingly feeling in my gut.
Oh yeah, on-topic stuff... uhm... I think Red Dragon is the last movie I watched. _________________

Not tactile perceptions that I can remember, but I do sometimes experience fatigue and wake up as such.
Odd: Probably about half of the dreams I can recall, or just visualize the bits and pieces, are in third person OR it's me but in someone else's body. _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

I can't remember feeling pain but I have had numb feelings and, for some reason, I have lost my teeth/tooth in a dream several times but without actual pain... I also had a dream where I saw a guy jumping from a balcony but just before the jump it was me and I died.
The last movies I watched were 16 Blocks, Frequency and The Twelve Monkeys. 16 Blocks was good. I was surprised by the Frequency and I liked it too. ( I've been wondering I haven't seen so many bad films recently, dunno how long it will last though...) And The Twelve Monkeys is always as great. _________________ After my life I'm just gonna relaaax in Hell..! |

| Let the Right One In. I can safely say the remake was equally as good, if not better. This one definitely had the better soundtrack, but I loved how LMI took every important bit from LtROI and emphasized it. In doing so it actually made the subplots almost nonexistent but they're still there, so you'd probably have to watch them in order; I enjoyed the remake a lot more after viewing this one for the first time. |

Cars 2
Wasn't as bad as I expected. Bruce Campbell was a welcomed surprise voice. The dvd has a preview for a Pixar movie called Planes. I wonder what sort of plot that will have. Will they do one with Trains next? _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Fast Five.
I'm in the middle of watching it for a second time because of how much it just works this time around. I actually can't wait to see what they'll do with the sequel to this. |

I don't think this is a movie I'll ever own, but I enjoyed it -- for what it is. I liked seeing the return of some characters although, I think the Rock was a fail in my book. Mixing his extra-roided body didn't work and didn't really add to the story. When I think government operative, I typically think of a Gary Sinese type of guy, not the Incredible Hulk. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I really don't know what to think of his character - I thought at first he was supposed to be a parody of the whole macho man kinda thing ("You know I like my dessert first!"), which was funny, but then he got serious in the last third.
It was enjoyable seeing he and Vin Diesel fuck each other up, though. |

I hear what your saying. I think the Rock sort of made Vin look a little out of shape. Chubby even. I'm curious if they'll make the 6th. I like the lesbo and would like to see her return. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

| Adam. Very touching film. Though it left me with sort of a bittersweet feeling at the end, I couldn't help but smile at the menu screen for a good 5 minutes after the credits rolled by. |

I take it you're talking about Tucker and Dale? If so, yes it is. I first got wind of this through Alan Tudyk's Twitter and I'm glad I did. _________________

I went to an event called "Worst films in the world" which is a yearly marathon of amazingly cheap american horror flicks from the 50s.
I attended only one night of three, but on that night I watched such classics of bad cinema as The Brain from Planet Arous, Attack of the Crab Monsters and most importantly The Killer Shrews. Strongly recommended, if you're into this sort of entertainment. _________________ i have no time for anal love

Lord of the Rings extended editions.
Still wanna do a marathon some time, but I wonder if we'll ever pull that off. We actually watched all 3 movies in 2 takes (thank Sauron they're on 2 discs anyway) over the past 10 days or something because I'm kinda busy... _________________
