District 9 was great, like one of the best films of the year. It had a good balance between plot, depth, and action, I was worried there would be too much action for such a good premise but I was proved wrong.

I saw G.I. Joe instead of this because no one I went with was interested in aliens called Prauns.

This movie was fucking awesome.

I know you can't please everyone, but this film is instantly one of my favorite movies ever.

Also, I guess Preston's not the only alien who likes the word 'fuck'. By the way, that's a spoiler.

Remember when he was forced to test the guns on dead pigs? Then he was ordered to fire on a prawn, and kept shouting that he doesn't want to kill the alien and he would rather shoot the dead pig. Then near the end he did shoot a dead pig.

The climax was great. I love how the robot was used without seeming forced at all.
