... could be a description of David Gilmour, Pink Floyd* guitarist, as well.
The beeb has a recent live concert on their website. clicky
Strangely enough, it's rather good. I found myself actually liking the stripped-to-the-bone version of Shine on You Crazy Diamond.

I'm watching it right now. Damn you Window's media player. Anywho...I wish I could play like that. Maybe I'll take some classes. _________________

Wow, that was cool, thanks for the link!
And I still listen to lots of Pink Floyd, in my 40s. _________________

Pink Floyd is one of my four all-time favorite bands. I only listen to their stuff from Animals and prior. The Wall was okay but just too fucking depressing. _________________ "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

The Wall came out while I was in high school, and we used to joke about how Worm, Your Honor, was our headmaster.
And of course it is depressing. It is about Roger Waters losing his mind. Written and recorded while Roger Waters was losing his mind.
Supposedly, his doctors would not let him tour after that tour.
I went to an after-concert party in Dallas during the A Momentary Lapse of Reason tour. It was a private party at one of the hippest clubs in Deep Ellum. I knew the owner of the club, so I got to go. I didn't hang out with them, or even meet them, really, but I did talk to Nick Mason for a few minutes.
Lately I have been listening to Wish You Were Here more than anything else, with Piper at the Gates of Dawn second-most. _________________

You're lucky - Mason is said to be the nicest member of the band.
And talking about the Piper at the Gates of Dawn: Syd Barett died today. _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

Yeah, most of the updates Microsoft has been rolling out have been causing a lot of problems for Limewire users. You may lose a bit of functionality with some Windows components if you delete System32 but it will fix your problem. You can always undelete it after. _________________
