New Joss Wedon (sp?) show starts tonight on Fox. "Faith" (Eliza Dushko; sp?) stars. She was on Howard Stern yesterday. Great interview, even if she didn't ride the Sybian. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Wasn't bad. "Helo" from Battlestar is also in the cast. Speaking of casting, I was surprised to see the "I'm a PC" guy as a doctor on last Friday's Battlestar. This is the second non-Mac commercial appearence I can recall with this guy. I think he's typecast. I can't take his appearences in shows. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I think it has potential, but there is also the potential to mess things up. I mean, come on, the second episode already involves the "plot twist" in which one of their agents (or subjects, or whatever) has gone rogue and needs to be stopped? They are supposed to have many "normal" episodes before they go for that particular trick. It reeks of desperation. _________________ Context is everything. |

You raise an interesting point. I got the impression that Eliza's character "finds out" something about what she is. To me, I thought something a la Christian Slater's recent TV show -- My Own Worst Enemy. In interview, Eliza basically told Joss stories of her life and he worked it into a script. There is supposedly some truth to the upcoming "bo-hunting" episode. Something about a date she went on. I dunno what to think. I, like others here, really liked Firefly, but Firefly didn't last. Instead, Buffy the Vampire Slayer not only lasted, but so did an Angel spinoff. I mean, WTF? Ratings. Ratings matter, plot doesn't. Apparently, they can be mutually exclusive. :dunno _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Yes, the Brain Surgeon.
Actually, the guy that played the Lawyer in Battlestar was also spotted in a recent episode of Burn Notice and last night's Leverage. He is going to return in next week's Leverage. I liked his Lawyer character on Battlestar. Thought it was very well acted. The blonde Chick from Battlestar (Tricia Helfer) is also semi-regular on Burn Notice. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Except for the accent. But he's Badger, so I love him anyway. _________________

His accent in Firefly was pretty awful too, though. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

Which is odd, given that he's English. But yes, I thought he was overplaying it a bit for the U.S. audience. Sorta like when Colin Farell was Bullseye.
What the fuck do Americans know anyway? They always ask me if I'm Australian.

We think you're all from London or sound Cockney. And, in acting roles, can only really be used for playing bad guys or Romans. _________________ "Yeast devil! Back to the oven that baked you!" |

You really need to get yourself a copy of the Urban dictionary. lolz
Anyway, I'm kinda pissed because they didn't show the second episode last Friday. Why? Because Larry Miller died. Yeah, I know that none of you know who that is. He's a Morman. All of Utah was in tears. Thankfully, I had a flight to Georgia on Sunday and was out of town until now. Unfortunately, they are still morning him and taking up valuable hours where I could be wasting time watching crappy television. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |
