Wildfire Games

So, I was rummaging around in a wikipedia list of still-in-development games, when I discovered This.

It's a historical RTS, meant to be as accurate as possible without screwing up the gameplay. The screenshots look absolutely awesome; I'll leave you to peruse them on your own time. Whether it ends up as a GOOD game is up in the air, but it looks pretty promising...and since they'll release it as freeware, there's not going to be much of a downside to snagging it once it comes out.

The same company-wildifre games-is also doing This. It seems to be in a lower stage of production than 0 A.D., but it doesn't seem to be dead yet--and it looks like an even more ambitious undertaking.

Bottom line is, these guys and gals at Wildfire Games deserve some attention--because they're creating some impressive stuff.
