well, maybe not brilliant then, but "in a way fascinating", yes, i think that's more like it. you know, how genocide or nuclear explosion can be fascinating, terrifying yet fascinating.
i mean, worst can be read as best if you look at it upside down, right? extraordinary achievement in idiocy is still an achievement of sorts.
