i kinda thought my pics speak for themselves.
but if we have to be verbal about it: YES, I TOTALLY WERE IMPRESSED BY THE TOWN OF BRUGES AND RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WITH MEANS ENOUGH TO MAKE A SIMILAR TRIP, BUT ONLY HAVING WATCHED THE MOVIE FIRST.
goodbye, understatement. _________________ i have no time for anal love

You could get duct-taped to a chair and be forced to watch re-runs of Everybody Loves Raymond for two days straight until all the lameness is drained from you. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

It'll be painful, but it's preferable to a new ass.
Let's do it. I'm not coming back 'till I'm cured! _________________

I've got duct-tape, but I don't know anyone lame enough to have any Everybody Loves Raymond on dvd. Perhaps an alternative substitute could be found? _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

-Edit-
Just saw In Bruge. I think it's safe to say I'm cured. Whoever said modern cinema isn't as good as it used to be clearly didn't have a clue, myself included. In fact, cinema may be getting better (I may post an essay in soapbox about this). Thank God for the comic relief in this 'filim' though.
The trailer's fucking bullshit though. _________________

agreed. if i had seen the trailer first, i wouldn't feel like watching it at all. it makes it seem like another dumb criminal/black comedy/Guy Ritchie rip-off.
the lesson here: don't watch trailers.
i, however, am not as optimistic as you, Simon. to me In Bruges is not a proof that modern cinema is going upwards, rather a pleasing exception among the sea of crap that is produced nowadays. _________________ i have no time for anal love

I'm aided by the fact that I'm always late when I go to the cinema. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

a good strategy, except it leaves you having to squeeze past stupid people with mountains of takeaway food on their laps, and in total darkness, too.
it's a lose-lose situation, really. _________________ i have no time for anal love

You need to stop going to see films in underground caves, dude.
I also avoid previews/trailers of games that I'm interested in. I notice that PC Gamer are currently doing their best to ruin Dragon Age for me. _________________

I liked the movie. Not as crazy about it as all of you are, but I thought it was quite nice. Some of the acting was quite bad, though.
Also, I visited Bruge long before I saw the movie. It's a very nice town, but both Mostar and Istanbul are nicer (to name just two out of a very long list). _________________ The Justified Ancient of Mu Mu |

Another thing I would like to mention is that I thought this film had one of best climaxes I have ever seen in any other film. I thought it was brilliant for its twisted but hilarious irony.

Well then this is why. I guess you and most of us here are out of the target demograph for films such as these (not talking about In Bruges, the other crap.) _________________ Only the strongest will survive.
