I was actually very positively surprised by the game. It isn't nearly as shit as I expected it to be. The lack of incredibly accurate groin shots irks me, not to mention being able to fix a gun by putting on overalls, but the game manages to give me that very special post-apoglee that a Fallout game should. Also the other radio station actually plays good music.
I know it's not really much, but it annoys me how long it takes for shopkeepers to get more caps. This does not go well with my obsession of picking up everything that even looks like it might be worth something to someone at some point. My loveshack boasts a truly stunning collection of mutilated limbs, raider armour and slabs of human flesh. At this point I'm sure I've sold Moira more ashtrays than there are smokers. _________________ bitchez n hose |

If your repair is high enough, then turn a suit of crap armour and a suit of average condition armour into to one suit of excellent condition armour. You get more money than you would for the two seperately. Plus it keeps you from getting swamped with loot. I just sell shit to anyone who'll take it. What Doc Church does with all those nail boards and sadist armours we'll never know.
Side note: Is it not amusing that the scavengers will equip stuff you sell to them, in the manner of the Morrowind merchants? Half the guys wandering the wasteland are now armed with malfunctioning missile launchers. I can't help but feel a little pride about that. _________________

Ok ive never really played any of the Fallouts. Whats the main plot? Objectives?
From what I hear the targeting system got bad scoring from a lot of hardcore FPS gamers. Also its been targeted as a RPG but I dont see how.
Im interested in the game but I wanan know more about it before I get it. _________________ Clueless and the Grammer Unerwnschte

1. World ends... you live in locked tight vault... daddy leaves... you leave to go find daddy... many abnormally large critters are killed and eaten by you.
2. The targeting system is very innovative, and its limited amount forces you to do plain 'ol FPS shooting. Whats not to like?
3. It is an RPG because you make a character, go on a series of quests and side quests, and all the while you level-up and improve your character. _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Very attractive shirt.
Anyway good luck strangling me. My dad already beat you to it.
@Frost I dont think ill go looking for daddy any time soon. If he gets lost in a nuclear wasteland its the mutants that are gonna come looking for the shelter.
Anyway thanks for the explanation. Ive read reviews and all but I just wanted to get some facts from fellow gamers. always best that way. I think ill get it now. _________________ Clueless and the Grammer Unerwnschte

Oh that's just unnecessary. If I want holes on my cool vault suit, I'll just get shot at. That is the microwavable spaghetti of shirts. _________________ bitchez n hose |

That would be awesome. A shirt with bullet holes, and a torso with matching bullet holes. You'll be the shizzle on all the Halloween parties. _________________

Is it sad that I've made 2 characters (one good man with whom I've beaten the game, and one evil bitch who isn't too far yet) but I have never even seen Dogmeat yet? (the dog companion) _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

I am not a true Fallout fan, for I am sure that requires playing the first two games as well.
And I didn't know where to find Dogmeat until recently. He was not at the junkyard when I looked (and I know I have the right place, because my THIRD character found Dogmeat). _________________ You forget one thing: rock crushes scissors. But paper covers rock... and

Alright, so I've finally managed to borrow this one from a friend. I can keep it for a long time since he doesn't play it anymore. I guess it's time to start my journey.
Hey, can I have a teddy bear head, or is that too lame for this game? |

No, but you can get a gun that is capable of firing teddy bears. And if you pick up the ever-popular bloody mess perk, people can and will explode from high-velocity teddy bears. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.
