These theories are feasible if the Death Star is. |
You know, I'd like to see something which can kick Godzizu's butt. And walk on vacuum.
Anyhoo.. well the date is here. It's 14 September today, my local time (1308hrs, GMT +8 ). Tomorrow around the same time I shall report to my National Service enlistment, which means I won't be around for a very long time. Not that I've been around quite often (lol).
Mixed feelings, cause I'll be away from creature comforts for some time. Goodbye bed, goodbye familiar ceiling, goodbye waking up late in the morning, goodbye making tea after waking up late in the morning, etc etc.
But I'm not complaining, though. I guess it's a cool trade if you wanna get the boots wet with learning stuff like handling firearms and explosives, possibly driving a tank, and meeting new people, so on so forth.
I get to book out of camp on weekends, but with the extent of the training I think I would be resting up more than anything. I'll post once in a while to let you guys know how I'm doing.
So fellow forum-ers, au revoir, till we meet again someday.

This gave me mixed feelings yesterday.
While it was an almightly pain in the ass, and it was lashing rain, it was pretty funny. Particularly when the other van that came out to pull us free got stuck too and we had to dig it out. After we'd done that, we managed to pull the first van out, then the second got badly stuck and we had to use the first to tow that one out. About 4 hours later both vehicles were on the road. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

Yikes! That would definately give me pause. While I've had some recent battles with snow, I'm glad I no longer live on the Gulf. Thankfully, my time in Galveston was better than what's been in the news although we'd often get rain:
Thankfully, I parked on high-ground. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

I'm tied between purchasing Dead Space or Silent Hill: Homecoming. I like horror games, but what do I want more? A game about infectuos aliens transforming people into horrible mutant zombies? Or a mindscrewing game about a really twisted town? _________________ Only the strongest will survive.

I ordered these last week and they arrived today:
http://www.dmusastore.com/pc-2554-8-3-eye-getta-grip.aspx
I'm not sure what to make of them. I find it odd to have screws in the sole and they have a finky feel to them. The toes almost feel semi-lifted and the "toe" of the shoe feels as if it is tungsten. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Yeah. That's what shoes cost, give or take $10. I'm not sure if I should return them for a different pair. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

A little month, or ere those shoes were old
With which she follow'd my poor father's body
Like Niobe, all tears—why she, even she—
O God! a beast that wants discourse of reason
Would have mourn'd longer—married with my uncle,
My father's brother, but no more like my father
Than I to Hercules. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

Okay... so... I woke up this afternoon with an enormous hangover, and I'm currently at work (a club). I've been here since 4 pm and I have to start working at 21:45. Now, you could say I have no social life, but then again, I am at a club.
And the reason I'm posting this is because I saw an elevator with the logo ALP-Lift and immediately thought of this place.
I think something is wrong in my brain _________________

Things happened and I ended up having a conversation with this wonderful American girl. I was just happy to speak english with someone whose vocabulary does not limit them to simply asking a way to the beach in a very loud voice. Faithfully keeping up the stereotype, she was a bit dim and... generously portioned.
The subject slipped over to linguistics and, of course, she had to recite a list of every language she knew even a word of. She then asks me a question that, I freely admit, completely stumped me. She asked if I ever learned any foreign languages.
Unable to properly convey my feelings at this point through simple words, I resorted to the international language of the body and made a face very similar to the one on Luigi here.
She did not understand what I meant. _________________ bitchez n hose |

The 20th of April is always a watershed for me. Not for that reason, though. That can burn in hell for all I care. And it may cause looney consequences for said burning. _________________ Only the strongest will survive.
