Yeah, the site crashed my browser quite a few times. I'd actually like to see Blizzard working on some new creative material for once, but then again, they've always been creative with taking previous creations in new and exciting directions. Just compare Warcraft II to the original, or even Warcraft III to Warcraft II.

I'm enthusiastic with Blizzard's art direction with both Diablo III and Starcraft II. Although I can appreciate überrealism, I think graphics should really only be used to build the setting and character of a game. Team Fortress 2 really nailed that point. What I've seen with Blizzard's current projects suggest that although they may not be so technically advanced or demanding, they're going to be somthing I'm definately going to stare for hours at. I want everyone to know I want that funky mouthgard Darth Malak had for Christmas, since I expect my jaw will only become a hindrance once I dive into these games.

My only fear is that Blizzard will simply go for 'old school' gameplay here. I mean, they revolutionized every genre they touched. Perfection of the original winning formulas is certainaly an admirable goal, but I think it'd be a shame if they didn't bring somthing new to the gaming world, which is somthing that looks more and more likely with every demo I see.

Well, time will tell.

I'm not sure about this one. I've never gotten crazy over games like this. First one was great though.

doesnt look like theyve changed any of the gameplay too drasticly, just
added a physics engine (or whatever its actualy called) among a few
other things, looks quite cool though, looks like it still has some of the
good ol' diablo 1 and 2 feel to it though

The current graphics style looks pretty good. I just really like the more realistic looking graphics--I don't want to see anything cartoonish for this one. I suppose I like the dark, gritty look of the original Diablo.

I think that we need some games with a simple interface like the Diablo series. Yes, I imagine that there will be some new features, but I hope that they don't mess with a tried and true formula.

Everone's initial reaction to Diablo 3 was "omg it looks like Diablo 2 only better." And now that a few idiots gave people a reason to moan about it, they intend to.
