When cleaning my ps3 am I pushing dust into the console by doing this everyday? Everytime I see dust on my ps3 I dust it off with a dust swiffer or microfiber cloth. Is it ok to dust over the vents, does the cloth collect the dust and keep it or does it push it in as it goes over?

It pushes it in. It's much better to clean it under a tap, and then leave it to dry for a while, either in a sunny spot, or on a radiator.

If you spray the disk lightly with WD40 before putting it in, it prolongues the life of the machine too.
