|
|
Hey gang,
I've found a new independent printer that makes a whole lot more sense to do my t-shirts through than the evil old Cafepress machine. I've created a new official design that's slick, New York flavored, and won't get me into trouble. It's stylized down to one color, which means I can offer it to you for a lot cheaper than the old Cafepress shirts.
I plan to offer it in both maroon and black, in Hanes Beefy (Maroon) for men and Bella babydoll (Cardinal Red) for the ladies. On Cafepress I charged $19 for the shirts, now I'll be able to offer 'em to ya for the low low price of $16. And I gleaned that the new color'll be more popular with you guys.
Right now, though, I need your help figuring out what to order from the printer. I'm not asking for any money right now, and I'm probably not gonna do a "pre-order" where you give me dough and then wait for your shirts. But if you could let me know if you're interested in ordering a shirt, and what size, in the poll, that'd be awesome. Also, black is a possibility, so if you want that, lemme know, but I doubt I'll be able to do both maroon and black unless enough of you want both.
If you're not planning on buying the shirt as is, please lemme know why, whether it's you ain't hot on the design or you'd prefer black.
THANKS AND I LOVE YOU ALL. I'm gonna try and get my hands on the shirts soon but I need your input right now.
EDIT: I tried to make it possible for unregistered users to vote in the poll, but it's not working. Oh well, if you don't wanna bother registering you can still post a reply below. Thanks
-B

this will complement my What Would Batman Do shirt. That one comes from Drmcninja.com, but this shirt looks like even more awesome. Like, yeah. TURN IT UP, SAY TURN IT UP. _________________ "Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love." - Albert Einstein |

If it isn't gonna be black, the color pictured is exactly the color I want. And Hanes Beefy-T is an awesome shirt.
The design isn't exactly what I would pick, but I can understand why you would pick it, given your constraints.
I certainly want one. _________________

I also would say I prefer the maroon with the larger image on it. The black t-shirt in the picture at the store would be great if the image were only bigger. _________________ "Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love." - Albert Einstein |

Oops, that black shirt in the store wasn't supposed to be there; I just took it out. Ignore it - assume there's only the maroon version above. Thanks. |

| I love the design, but I'm a fat-ass. I need a Men's 3X-Large. If you made some in that size, I'd buy one. |

Guest here. Not much time to join the forums, so I haven't, but I did see the news post and felt like chiming in my view.
Honestly, I love it. It's not a blatent advertising, it's more original artwork, and, most of all, it's NOT black. So many kids wear black these... come on people, colours are wonderful.
I most definately want one as soon as it comes out, and congratulations, it will be the first webcomic t-shirt I've ever purchased. So, feel special, really, I mean it!
Oh, and since I can't vote on the poll, I'd need a Large women's. |

| I love the design!! I might buy the shirt, might not. If it was Preston rather than Abe, it'd be mine. Should I hold my breath? |

I f-ing love that shirt. Oh I have an Idea! Maybe all of us from the forum someday meet up here in New York and we'll wear the shirts so that we can tell who's who. I think that's a cool Idea...If only we had the dinero to do it. _________________

Do we have an ETA on the shirts?
Being unemployed, I have to save my pennies to buy mine. So I would like to have an idea of when I should expect to buy mine.
Thanks so much B. =D _________________

I don't think that's a good idea. Haven't you ever taken the time to think how I'de be like in real life? |
