Ahhhh, feels good to be a forum whore...

Anyhoo, I came here with a reason, to make all of you tremble with laughter by looking at my doodles... I think...

I was practicing for tomorrow's exam (Dutch) and decided to draw another Xeno:

I started with trying to draw a Xeno that was just sitting on it's bum, doing nothing. Then it turned out to be a Xeno that was standing like a basketball player. So I decided to add a Hugger with a basketball... and that became a Hugger with a baseball... so I added the baseball bat, the cap on the Xeno's head and the glove on the Hugger's tail. Wowie, the evolution of a doodle.

And guess what this Hippiemorph is doing:

Don't really like the way I drew his stumach. For the rest I think he's ok... oh, and that's a lighter in his left hand Wink

The latest project I'm working on: LV-426's Colony. The interior, that is... to be more precise... small, claustrophic, barely lit interiors...

As you can see, it's a little bit inspired on the corridors in Aliens. When I have too much time, and nobody needs the computer, I'm going to make a short movie, where you see that lamp swinging, with all the shadows moving with it etc etc. But it takes so friggin long to render one pic... and imagine, with 24 frames a sec... a 10 sec movie... I'd better hit the "Render to file" button in the morning so it'll be done in the evening...
Anyhoo, I was thinking, that maybe it would be cool to have either a model, or just a flat picture of an Alien, crawling on the ceiling in the distance...

I made all of this with Anim8or. It's free and kinda cool.

Sorry, just had to advertise for the program...

Ok, I've finally gotten myself to do something... I made a short clip of someone walking through the corridor, which took about an hour and a half to render... (thank God my dad made sure I could do the dishes in the meantime Razz

(not like that took me 90 minutes, I just spend the rest of the time shooting vampires and germanic trolls in the Van Helsing game, on my PS2))

I then loaded it into Windows Movie Maker, added some sound effects and voila: clickie

You may find the sounds are kinda familiar, this is because I used the sounds from the first AvP game.
I should also add, that it is best to watch it using Winamp, caus I noticed that in Windows Media Player it looks kinda crappy. Not that it looks that good in Winamp, but this is probably because I rendered it at 400X300 and then told Movie Maker to make it 640X480... anyhoo, enjoy.

the work was good and all taht tight space and stuff, but like u gotta get rid of that "fog", i meam mot completely but like extend it to life a few more feet infront of the viewer

Yeah well, it's supposed to be dark in there... I made it green first, to try and give it a "night-vision" look... maybe if I make the fog black...
