Which do you prefer? Obviously, Red Dragon has more "star" power, although the guy who originally played Hannibal wasn't bad and seemed to go on to act (and put on weight) and I believe was in one of the recent Bourne movies. Likewise, the CSI guy dud well with his show... I ask cuz Red Dragon is currently on Universal HD and I was watching ManHunter a week or so ago on TNT (or some similar channel) _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Red Dragon is pretty cool. I've never seen Manhunter though, so I can't really compare.
But as far as I know, Anthony Hopkins never did a Bourne movie. _________________

Manhunter came out in '86. Hannibal (originally) was played by Brian Cox:

who, I believe was in one of the Bourne movies. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Ah. I didn't know Manhunter was like the prequel to everything.
And yes, Brian Cox was in the second Bourne movie. He was also in the second X-Men movie.
He is also in a game, called Manhunt. _________________

He was also on an episode of Top Gear. Brilliant. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

I think you are misunderstanding me -- it's not a "prequel". Red Dragon = Manhunter. In fact, I'd guess the script is almost 70% the same between the two movies.
I actually thought Cox was quite good as Hannibal. If he hadn't put on weight, he would have likely done a good job if cast in the role again. _________________ "If wishes were horses, we'd all be eating steak." |

Ah, now I get it.
Guess I'll have to watch it sometimes then. I liked Red Dragon. _________________
