| I came over this trailer for the dvd release for Hostel 2. After seeing that chic getting bled by another chic lying beneath her with a scythe... well, i haven't seen a trailer being even near that one in terms of gore. there's this site i found www.bloodvault.com it's got the trailer and some actual clips from the film. and the scene where the guy's penis is ripped off. you watch it with a straight face, you're a zombie. or alien. |

Went to see Saw 4 last week. Was actually pretty good, until it decided to throw all continuity and plot out the window at the end.

Meh, I guess I'll see it eventually when it's on TV or something... they actually should've stopped after Saw 2 if you ask me.

Me neither but it's still ugh. I like suspense over mindless gore any day. Except when the movie is Dead Alive. Then I'm all for the gorefest.

The only part that really bothered me was the guy getting covered by pig poo and other gunk. That was in the third one, right?

Same here. In one point my eyes were covering my hands and my ears were retreating into my head. The opening scene was a bit too much for my liking. And I did like the first and the second Saw.
I was about to go and see the fourth in the theater but I was afraid that I might try to make myself go blind and deaf because of the gross visual world and the disturbing soundscape.

i only saw the first one (lol pun) and while the slaughter was admittedly imaginative (although i still can't see how for some folks it can compete with 7even - not even the same league) it desperately needed an actual script and some half-believable acting. are the next ones repeating the same formula?
