I stopped playing DnD after 2nd Ed. Just got too damn complicated. The only gaming I do at all any more is the occasional Cyberpunk one-off.

Ah, but in a group one can tackle more significant threats. Including larger numbers of enemies, thereby increasing the odds that at least one of them will have something useful to you. And I was referring to the pointlessness of being both GM and PC. Just play a computer game instead.

There is no point to solo adventures as far as I'm concerned. When I said Solo above, though, I was referring to the class 'Solo' in Cyberpunk...

It's worth a look, if you can find a GM really into the genre. The notion of playing in a Gibson-esque or Neal Stephenson type corporate setting always appealed to me.
