Imagine a world where CSS still revolves around shooting and killing, but now there's magic that can bring anyone back, glowing minions killing people just because you tell them to, and enough hi-tech gear to make us look like we're in the stone age, including gliders, autoaiming implants, and portable X-Ray vision. Now add fancy-haired elves, berserking trolls, and thieving little dwarves and you have the most awesome shooting experience currently available for most platforms. They call it: Shadowrun.

Think you got skills? Smartlink and a pistol is quite possibly the most deadly weapon in the game, screw your high powered auto rifles and sniper rifles and miniguns and rocket launchers, 2 headshots from sniper rifle range will do it for me.

Shadowrun used to be an RPG system, wasn't it?
i almost played it once, years and years ago.
something didn't work out and the game never happened though.

Its on Windows Vista and X-box ONLY, which means it doesn't run on XP which is really gay, + You have to have a really good graphics card sounds like RIP-OFF, you also have to get windows live which costs money per month.....RIP-OFF!

I used to play the pencil-and-paper version sometimes. My nephew has the X-Box version. What they have seems pretty cool, but the game seems very bare bones right now. It might be hard for non-Shadowrun fans to get into it.

I downloaded the demo of the new Shadowrun, it's nothing special. A lot of people on my friends list were playing it for a week or two, but they've mostly stopped now. That kinda puts me off getting it. Although the whole 'migratory herd' nature of many Live players is pretty well established.

Well my friend got it for the 360, he played it alot fot a while then he stopped after a week and went back to the Halo 3 Beta, its probably just a waste of money....
