This question's been buggering me for a long time. What do Abe and Preston sound like? Bernie, can you give us an idea or sample of what you intended?
Personally I always thought that Abe and Preston would sound almost exactly like Craig Mengel and Ross Scott from Civil Protection, respectively.
Either that or Chris Tucker and James Earl Jones. Don't ask me why I think they would sound black.
How about the rest of you peoples? What do you think?

I'd think Jesus would sound like Ross, from friends, if I would think about things like that.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure Abe and Preston should sound black. Although I seem to remember Abe thought Preston was Chinese.

I think Abe would have a slightly higher-pitched Anthony Anderson voice, with Preston with a black-chinese cross voice.
I should read every strip again with those voices... how fun that would be... |

I've always imagined Abe as Rob Schneider, for some reason. Black would suit Preston though, maybe Jamie Foxx?

I think Rob's voice would be cool as Abe's, not sure about Jamie Foxx... but then again everyone sounds different when they're singing... don't blame me, I found that video in five minutes, not really bothered to do it for more than twenty... |
