What did you guys think about the movie? It scared me so much I actually left the theater crying. Granted I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat but it really was scary. _________________

I thought it required so much suspension of disbelief that it was almost unwatchable. I really liked the first one, so I approached the second with a certain amount of trepidation, which turned out to be incredibly warranted.
Spoiler: | I mean, come on, folks, you find the one carrier of the virus left IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, the ONLY SOURCE OF THE VIRUS THAT EXISTS and then you put her in a room, and leave and go to the next building to talk about what you're going to do with her. Not even one guy (gun optional even) to keep half an eye on her while he read the paper. And then, the virus gets out. You've essentially got one armed-to-the-teeth guy for every single person in Britain. Logic might dictate that you take them all to somewhere like a football stadium, stick 'em in the middle, park a thousand snipers on the roof and kill anything that comes near. But no, let's put them in tiny groups in a basement, leave and lock the door. Sure they'll be fine. |
To be fair, some of the action was pretty good, but not good enough I feel. _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

As zombie movies go, it was pretty good.
I prefer ones where the corpses are shambling instead of sprinting. It's just an important little detail for me.
*edit*
Wait, second one? I thought there was just one. _________________ bitchez n hose |

Yeah, the first one was called '28 days later', starring Cillian Murphy. Came out about four years ago. Great show... _________________ Da Fro-mastah of da aLp Forums!

I prefer running zombies that hiss and snarl and scream, just because theyre scary as fuck. Like the first scene in 28 weeks later, as hes running to the boat, do you think all those people coming over the hill would have been as scary if he just had to keep walking to get away? No, running zombies are scary and thats the end of it. _________________

I loved both of them. It's very difficult to make a sequal which you can watch without the need to see the first one... Don't know which was scarier. In the first movie I really could relate to the characters but not that much in the sequal. I found the girl somewhat annoying but I didn't let that ruin the movie. _________________ "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" |

Those weren't zombies. They were still alive. Hideously violent and starving, but alive.
I haven't seen the movie yet, or '28 days later' but meh. I think I'll wait till it's on Shaw on Demand. _________________
