well, siamese cats are born pure white but later on get black markings, same with dalmatians, they're born white but get black spots later on

maybe it has to do with they way aliens are, they start out white and then turn black

aliens are slimy right? well, could that be to stop them from drying out? XD

I mean, theyer shell is hard, so could the slime be to stop it from getting brittle and cracking?
