I live in Chicago...

so I pick The Bears!
Oddly... I used to live in TN, where Peyton Manning played for the UT Vols.

Ditto. Regarding the Chicago part and its implications, at least.

Ah yes. The superbowl.

Where millions of dollars go right down the drain every few whatevers to make lame commercials, lots of grease, and grand displays of "I don't know how many walking meat loaves are doing something which I can only call sublimal homosexual acts. " to quote Munan.

But seriously. Colts. Cause I'd love to see a bear stand up to a good ol' .357

I'm voting Colts (team refers to a horse -- hence the horseshoe on the 'ole helm, not gun).

I choose Bears, just 'cause I can. Go Bears!

That's basically what I do too. Last year was the year of the awesome
V-Dub commercials.

I thought the Colts would win, but I didn't put money down for this one because neither team inspired much confidence in me, but at least I'm now 6 for 7 in predicting super bowl winners.

A friend just emailed me regarding Peyton being picked for MVP. Personally, I don't think he should have gotten it. I would have given it to that defensive guy who made the interception and ran it back for a TD. My guess is that Peyton was given it so that people could write MORE articles comparing and contrast Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

No one had a standout performance, so you're left with the choice of someone with one interception (almost forgot that), or the quarterback. Some people may think they made the only choice they could.

True there was no standout performance. However, imo, THAT interception was what turned the game around and put the pressure on Rex Grossman and the Bears defense. It made for a two-score game rather than the neck-n-neck poorly played game. I don't get to vote, though...
