Ok, back by popular demand... with the emphasis on demand... it's the annual (as in sometimes in some years) Pimp Your Avatar contest!!!
Seeing as Fallout 3 is about to be published, and I'm a big Fallout fan, and so are some other people here, this time the theme is Post-Apocalypticness!!!
Now, this doesn't mean that it should be something Fallouty or Mad Max-ish. Hell, Waterworld is Post-Apoc, so is Day of the Triffids. So it shouldn't be that hard. Just Pimp Your Avatar so that it gives a nice "the world is fucked" feel.
But how long can you participate? Well, until the Fallout 3 teaser has arrived. Just kidding. Let's say a month or so.
And ofcourse there will be a price, which will be announced later.
So, start pimpulating those avatars!!!

okay, this is a really crappy pimp. basically i just pasted a GWTBW characters head onto my old avatar. At least it's better than that swinging pirate.
EDIT: i'm only getting a little red 'image error' cross. does that count as 'the world is post apocalyptic fucked'?

actually when you think about it, isn't "Server Down" a great way to convey the post-apocalypticness in question? as in "The World's fucked, mankind's gone, power's out, server's down."
i'd keep it that way, wrince.
i'm not really that much into post-apocalypticness, but never one to miss out on the fun, i'll get some pimpin' done once something comes to my mind.

whadaya mean? it's just an image jinxed pip boy uploaded from google image.
and it proved a very bad omen for me and now i'm the jinxed one.
that new avy of mine apparently brought upon me the Curse of the Pip Boy - i uploaded it, turned the comp off, and an hour later it wouldn't turn on any more. turns out the motherboard and internet card got completely fucked over during a scary storm that was raging overhead.
i still haven't managed to get the internet connection up. i'm typing it on my gf's laptop.

@Cfos: Dude, just upload it and use link-off avatar, browsing it from your hardrive sucks nuts. It's more of a hassle but it works out better.
